Facebook selling your data to marketing companies

Telegraph says that one of largest social network "Facebook" planning to sell it's user data to marketing companies. Then Marketing companies will be able to ask questions to user according to their age, sex, relationships, interests, etc. and will allow multinational marketing companies to selectively target its members in order to research the appeal of new products, as market research tool.
Facebook holds huge user database about 150 million. Telegraph also says that Facebook has struggled to make money from advertising and been demonstrating the polling tool to some of the marketing leaders.
Experts says that "The huge user database Facebook holds and honest answers from users could worth millions to the research in marketing strategies". So the conclusion is all the Facebook users get ready to be spammed by these marketing companies.
